Pines Learning Expands to Central Doncaster: Supporting a Diverse and Growing Community
For over 45 years, Pines Learning has been a vital part of the local community, providing adult education and support to individuals at all stages of life. As a not-for-profit organisation, we’ve always been committed to delivering high-quality programs that empower people and strengthen the community. This year, we’re excited to announce the expansion of our services to central Doncaster, with a selection of our programs now available at MC Square, right in the heart of this vibrant and multicultural suburb.

A New Chapter at MC Square
MC Square is a hub of Doncaster activity, offering residents health, education, welfare, arts, and community services. Pines Learning is thrilled to contribute to Doncaster’s continued growth and enrichment and its surrounding suburbs by joining this network of local organisations. We aim to make education more accessible so that everyone—no matter their background or circumstances—has the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect.

Supporting Doncaster’s Multicultural Community
Doncaster is one of Melbourne’s most culturally diverse suburbs, and at Pines Learning, we understand the importance of providing programs that reflect and support this diversity. We know that English may be a second language for many people in the area, sometimes leading to feelings of isolation. That’s why we offer programs like English as an Additional Language (EAL), designed to help individuals improve their language skills while building confidence and connections within the community.

Helping people re-enter the workforce
Applying for jobs can be a daunting experience, often filled with stress as candidates navigate the application process and prepare for interviews. To address these challenges, Pines Learning is proud to offer a free Skills to Apply for Work Program at MC Square. The Bendigo Bank proudly sponsors this initiative, which has successfully helped numerous individuals re-enter the workforce and equipped them with the tools and confidence they need to thrive in their job search.

Being connected to your community is vital for your social well-being and significantly benefits your mental and physical health.
