VCAL – Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning
The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) is a recognised, accredited certificate for Years 10, 11 and 12. It includes formal learning, structured work placement and the opportunity to complete a VET (Vocational Education and Training) course in an industry of your choice at a TAFE or RTO.

What will VCAL give me?
The aim of the program is to provide you with a range of vocational skills to be ‘Job Ready’, along with a high standard of general education.
VCAL offers an educational experience that gives you a Senior Secondary school qualification plus a Certificate II or III in your chosen industry. It prepares you for employment, further study, an apprenticeship or a traineeship.

How do I enrol?
Make an appointment with the VCAL Coordinator (by calling 9842 6726) who will discuss your previous schooling, interests and industry preference to determine whether this would be the best learning pathway for you. You will then be placed in a level that best suits your needs.
