Job Opportunity for Early Childhood Teacher

Pines Learning is a not for profit Adult and Community Education centre located in Doncaster East  and is committed to providing a diverse program to its learners within a dedicated, friendly and supportive team. Our Education and Care Service caters for up to 30 children in a family grouping setting, operating 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. We deliver 30 hours of funded 3 and 4 year old kindergarten each week.

We are seeking a full time Early Childhood Teacher / Educational Leader to work 30 to 38 hours per week (negotiable).

The position is responsible (in conjunction with) the Early Learning & Care Manager, Other Early Childhood Teacher and Educators to deliver a quality and compliant three-year old and four-year old kindergarten program.

Applicants must have the following;

• Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education
• Experience in early childhood setting
• Current Working with Children Check
• National Police Check – or willing to undertake one
• Level 2 First Aid including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.

The position is classified under the Educational Services (Teachers) Award 2010, however Pines Learning remuneration is higher than the Award.  Salary Packaging is available for eligible employees.
