Wu Tao (which means the Dancing Way), harmonises energy flow in the body through dance and music. Wu Tao Dance increases fitness, health, joy and vitality and reduces the symptoms of stress, depression and obesity. The dances are easy to do, fun to learn and suitable for everyone. Bring along your own craft project – sewing, knitting, crotcheting, tapestry, patchwork, cross stitch, whatever you’re working on and enjoy the company of the others as yo work on your own creative pieces. Share tips, ideas and be inspired over a tea or coffee.
Come and get fast results with circuit training. Combining weights, cardio and boxing, release that tension and have fun whilst challenging yourself and shaping your body.
The practice of Yoga will improve overall health – physical, mental and emotional. You will experience an increase in flexibility – both body and mind. Muscle tone and circulation will improve. Learn various ways to relax – mind and body and different asana (yoga postures) to suit different capabilities. Breathing is an important part of yoga and this will improve lung capacity. Posture will also improve as will body awareness.
“Moving Forward” is an ongoing support group looking at the effect abuse has on women, strategies to bring about change, and recovery. Learn to develop a greater sense of safety and personal well being.
